Josh back at school
On May 11th ex student and UK Eurovision Song Contest entrant Josh Dubovie came back to school to take part in a special assembly.
* Josh left year 13 last year after his A levels having spent all his secondary school life at Billericay School. He was a familiar face in all school Music and drama productions and has enjoyed considerable acclaim in numerous other performances around Essex. His hard work and considerable talent resulted in selection for Eurovision.
* Josh came back to do special assembly to students of Year 8 and other students who had performed in shows with him. After performing Josh held a question and answer session and signed autographs before heading off to a special Civic assembly held in his honour by Basildon council.
* The assembly launched our school’s continued support for Josh. Asd part of this we’re holding a European week in the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest which is to be held on Saturday May 28th. Departments are working cross curricular projects learning about Europe and what it means to us. There will also be Eurovision themed assemblies and an Inter-House quiz in the RBLC on Thursday lunchtime with a European Theme.
