Welcome to The Billericay School Website

This web site seeks to introduce you to our school, outline some of the many opportunities it offers and to demonstrate our aim to provide a quality education for every child.

Our students are remarkable young people. We want them to have energy and enthusiasm for all that life has to offer; to live as responsible citizens and to succeed academically in our rapidly changing society. We wish to develop their unique talents and aspirations, and give them our support, attention and guidance in every endeavour.

The purpose of The Billericay School is to offer students the opportunity to reach their full potential. We wish to ensure that all children at the school achieve the highest possible standards, whether it be in the classroom, or in the extensive range of opportunities we offer to students at all stages of their education.

We provide a secure, caring and disciplined environment where students can learn and teachers can teach.

Our school offers:

  • Proven standards of academic excellence
  • Outstanding educational resources
  • A vibrant and successful Sixth Form
  • Enrichment through extra-curricular opportunities

We expect from all our students:

  • A commitment to work to their highest standards
  • Self reliance and a sense of responsibility
  • Respect and tolerance for others

By browsing through the pages of this website, I hope you will learn more about our achievements and philosophy.

This website has been developed in consultation with students, staff, governors, and our parents and is an ever changing entity! We would appreciate your comments and suggestions for the future.
